The Florist: Weekly Prompt 54

Alright, here’s a prompt that I think could be cool for thriller authors and whoever else writes about more violent things:
Have a killer whose trademark is to leave flowers for the person they kill. In addition to that, they might use the flowers to get close to the person they need to kill, or they do any other host of things like that.
After watching a few episodes of the show Blacklist, I’ve gotten to the point where I think that killer names can be really cool. For those who haven’t seen the show, it’s about FBI agents who track down well-known criminals. These criminals have cool nicknames that are taken from what they’re known for.
So, our flower assassin is known as The Florist.
Of course, you can come up with other names too, but it’s p to you!
Another prompt that you can use, for my romance and cozy fiction authors, is a story about a small-town florist who is just your average Joe/average Jane. They like flowers, so they opened their flower shop.
Perhaps their shop is under threat of being demolished due to the city condemning the building for no good reason. Maybe someone got murdered next door and our florist is the only person who saw the getaway vehicle. Maybe they delivered flowers to a wealthy businessman whom they fall for shortly thereafter!
Whatever route you take, these prompts are free to use however you want! Enjoy!
