The Trees Have Eyes: Weekly Prompt 47

We’ve all been somewhere and felt certain that something was watching us. Despite all the times we checked, however, we failed to see it.
As it turns out, humans do have the ability to sense when stuff is watching them, which is pretty stinking dope. God made us pretty cool, huh?
This week’s prompt plays off that little ability we have. Your prompt is to tell the story of someone who is going through a jungle, forest, or some other place and have them realize they are being watched.
Perhaps they are soldiers on patrol and their ability to sense the watcher saves them from an ambush. Maybe they are hunters and they manage to alert those in their hunting party of the danger before the predator can pounce them. Maybe they are a pilot in a fighter jet and they get that feeling and they just barely dodge the attack from another plane that had snuck up on them.
Whatever you go for, this prompt is free to use however you please! Drop it in the comments below, put it on InklingsFiction, include it in your book, do whatever you want!
