Alright, Thriller and Apocalypse writers, this one should really appeal to you! This weeks’ prompt is all about an event (maybe an EMP, maybe a catastrophic oil shortage, maybe an energy embargo, your choice) that stops society in its tracks.
The power stops, the gas station run dry, planes drop from the sky, your choice! All that matters is that your main character and their spouse find themselves in dire straits. What kind of straits? Well, they were on vacation with each other when it all happened. Not only that, they were WAY too far away from home to consider going back. If that isn’t enough, they weren’t ready to survive any sort of apocalypse, all they brought was some changes of clothes. They weren’t going camping, they were going to a hotel.
What does your couple do?
As always, these prompts are free to use since I made them up. (But I would love it if you told other Christian writers about them if you like them so we can grow this group!) Drop your story below, or keep it to yourself, it’s totally up to you. 🙂
