To Fear: Weekly Prompt 3

Charles/Charlotte has always been afraid of failure. Yeah, people tell them that everyone is, but they are especially. The thought of messing up–especially in front of others–renders Charles/Charlotte paralyzed. However, out of this fear, Charles/Charlotte end up doing just about nothing at all. Because they do nothing, they feel useless and, quite frankly, like you don’t belong here anymore. And then Charles/Charlotte prayed and God took that fear from them. What’s the first thing Charles/Charlotte will do?
Yeah, this one might strike a little close to home for some of us, but I find that issues in life can be dealt with by writing them from an outside perspective. We’ve all been frozen in fear before and then ended up missing out on something that we know we were supposed to do so, what if maybe–just maybe–you took that fear head-on? What if you changed the world? Write out those possibilities and live out a scary dream through Charles/Charlotte. 🙂
And there’s a chance I’m using this as a bit of a self-Sozo right now! Hahaha
As always, feel free to use this prompt in a book, write a story below, or, in this one’s case, use it for some reflection. Is there anything you know you need to do but you’re avoiding it because you’re anxious?
God bless, y’all, and aloha! 🙂
