This past week I was reading my Bible and I realized that one of the inheritance that David left Solomon wasn’t all that positive. What was it? A hit list. All the men that wronged King David that he couldn’t kill himself. I started thinking how that could be a good premise for a story. However, I quickly realized that the popular hero Green Arrow follows literally that same exact plot.

But, it’s still a great storyline! So, your task for the week is to write a story where your main character receives a hit list from their parents upon their deaths, much like the one David gave Solomon. The sins of the father will be dealt with by the son. Your character doesn’t have to kill everyone on the list, you can choose what the punishment is, but they must be published as per your parent’s dying request.
