Those of us who write more action-centric works with people dying left and right sometimes feel remorse for putting our characters through woes more akin to the plagues of Egypt. (Some don’t, and I think y’all are mean! Hahaha)
For me, I sometimes like to outline future plots for peaceful lives for my characters.
Would such a book sell? Maybe?
But, I like them, and I think my readers might like them too, if I ever get around to actually writing one.
Your prompt, should you choose to accept it, is to GIVE YOUR CHARACTER A BREAK!
For me, I’ll be using this as an opportunity to bless one or more of my main characters from my war-ladened books.
They’ve been through a ton and it’ll do them (and me) good to make them happy at long last.
Give your character a dream vacation to the tropics, the mountains, the desert even! Let them finally take a load off.
This could just be an opportunity for you to further flesh out your main character as well! 🙂
Hope you love this prompt, I’d love to hear what you think!
As always, this prompt is totally free to use.
