Family Farm: Weekly Prompt 31

Call me old-fashioned, but I want a family farm.
Not only that, but my sign of “making it” in life will be to have fresh-squeezed orange juice every day from oranges I grew myself.
I know, I’m weird like that. I’ve got tons of things on my bucket list and that I know I’ll have to get done before I kick the bucket, but orange juice is my sign of making it in life. Some people want crazy nice cars, some want mansions, some want to tour the world. I want my orange juice.
Your prompt is to tell the tale of a family farm though. Maybe it’s a story about a guy who just wanted orange juice, maybe it’s of a hermit, maybe it’s of an amazing family. Maybe it could be about a family who is torn apart as a civil war tears across their nation. Maybe it’s of a family who gets martyred because their nation suddenly goes anti-Christian.
Whatever you write, this prompt is free to use however you please! 🙂 (But I’d love to see it on InklingsFiction.com!)
